How can I opt out of the POS feature for online-only sales?

Hey I was wondering is there a way to opt out of the POS part of setting up my site? I’m only gonna be selling online and have no use for the in person transactions.

Yes, it is possible to opt-out of the point-of-sale (POS) feature in Shopify if you do not plan to sell in person.

Are you using the Shopify POS app for Point Of Sell setup? https://apps.shopify.com/shopify-pos

If yes you can simply remove or disable the app. After you have disabled the POS feature, the point-of-sale app will no longer be available in your Shopify store, and you will not be able to process in-person transactions.

If you are on a free plan for Shopify POS I will advice you to keep the app for future utilizations.
