Hey @GemmaLopez , this is Alexis from Akohub! Nice to e-meet you :slightly_smiling_face: We’ve been working with many Shopify brands, from big to small. For example, Nike, Logitech and LINE Friends Taiwan. We hope our expertise would be helpful! I took a look at your site, and here are a few suggestions that might help:

Based on our experience, Google Analytics and Google Search Console are the most straightforward ones. These two tools are essential for understanding where your organic traffic is coming from, which keywords you’re ranking for, and identifying areas for improvement. They can give insights into high-performing and underperforming pages, allowing you to prioritize optimizations.

Additionally, you can try other SEO Auditing tools available on Shopify (like Ahrefs or SEMrush). These tools offer comprehensive SEO audits and reports. They highlight technical issues, backlink opportunities, keyword gaps, and provide actionable insights to help you rank better. Many also have competitor analysis features, which can be super helpful to see what others in your space are doing well!

Plus, if you’re looking for ways to improve your conversion rates, you can consider using our all-in-one marketing app: Ako Marketing (Loyalty, Retargeting, CRM). Our retargeting features can help improve your conversion rate by re-engaging visitors who came through organic search but didn’t convert the first time, and you can get a report of your customer behavior to better understand them!

Using a combination of these tools should give you a clear roadmap for your SEO strategy. Start with the basics, tackle any technical issues, and optimize your content based on what you learn. Good luck!

Hey GemmaLopez,

Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!

Improving SEO can be overwhelming, especially when there’s so much data to sift through. But luckily, there are some great tools out there that can help you break it down into actionable steps.

  1. Google Search Console: This is a free and essential tool for any Shopify store. It provides insights into how Google is crawling and indexing your site, what keywords are driving traffic, and which pages need improvement. It’s a great place to start because it shows your site’s performance directly from Google’s perspective.

  2. SEMrush or Ahrefs: These are both powerful SEO tools that can give you a comprehensive report on your website’s SEO health. They can highlight things like broken links, missing meta descriptions, keyword rankings, backlinks, and much more. They also provide specific action steps to improve your website’s SEO.

  3. Yoast SEO (for Shopify): Yoast is a plugin that helps you optimize your product pages and blogs. While it’s more commonly used for WordPress, there are Shopify apps that integrate Yoast’s features for SEO. It provides on-page SEO analysis and guidance, which can help you tweak your content for better search engine visibility.

  4. SEO Site Checkup: This tool allows you to run an SEO audit on your website. It will generate a report highlighting key areas of improvement, including on-page SEO, mobile-friendliness, loading speed, and technical SEO. It’s user-friendly and provides clear instructions on how to resolve any issues.

  5. Gameball: While Gameball is mainly for loyalty programs, improving your store’s engagement with customers can also indirectly boost your SEO. If customers are more engaged and returning due to loyalty programs, you’re likely to see increased time on your site and more social media mentions, both of which can positively impact your SEO.

In short, start with Google Search Console, use tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs for deeper insights, and check Yoast SEO for on-page improvements. Once you have a report, you can tackle each area systematically, from improving page speed to enhancing keyword optimization. If you need help getting started, I’d be happy to guide you! Several tools can help you generate actionable SEO reports that highlight improvement areas:

1. Ahrefs

Provides a comprehensive SEO audit and identifies technical issues, broken links, and on-page SEO opportunities. It offers recommendations for keyword improvement and backlink opportunities.

2. SEMrush

Known for detailed, user-friendly reports, SEMrush offers an SEO audit, keyword tracking, competitive analysis, and content improvement suggestions. It’s ideal for tracking keywords and competitor analysis alongside overall SEO health.

3. Google Search Console

While less detailed, Google Search Console is free and offers insights directly from Google. It’s great for spotting indexation issues, monitoring search performance, and tracking clicks, impressions, and rankings.

4. Moz Pro

Known for straightforward reports and a clean interface, Moz offers keyword analysis, backlink research, and insights into page optimization opportunities. Its “Page Optimization” feature makes it easy to see where on-page adjustments are needed.

5. Screaming Frog SEO Spider

This is a technical SEO tool that crawls your website and provides data on broken links, duplicate content, missing metadata, and other SEO issues. It’s beneficial for larger sites with technical SEO needs.

These tools offer visual and actionable insights, making it easier to understand and prioritize the areas that need immediate attention for your SEO strategy.

Hey @GemmaLopez !

I totally get it—starting with SEO can feel overwhelming, especially when there’s so much data available. But some tools make it a lot easier to see what you need to fix right away.

First, SEMrush is great for this. It has a simple site audit feature that points out exactly what’s holding your SEO back, like broken links, slow pages, and keyword gaps. They have a free version to try, but if you’re looking for more detailed reports, their Pro plan is around $129.95/month. That’ll give you access to audits, keyword tracking, and more.

Ahrefs is another solid choice. It’s perfect for checking where you rank, what keywords you might be missing, and which parts of your site could load faster. Their dashboard is user-friendly, so you can spot what needs fixing without digging around too much. The Lite plan costs about $99/month, and it covers all the basics like tracking keywords and site health insights.

And don’t forget about Google Search Console! It’s free and one of the best ways to see how Google views your site. You’ll get data on clicks, keywords, and mobile usability. If you haven’t connected it yet, just go to your Shopify admin, then head to Online Store > Preferences, and scroll down to the Google Analytics and Google Search Console sections. You can add your GSC verification code directly there, and it’ll start pulling data on how your store shows up in searches.

These tools should give you a clear look at where to focus your SEO efforts without getting lost in the data. Hope that helps!!

Well, as you want to improve your SEO and to find out what is wrong with your website. SemRush Site Audit is one of the best tools for this. It will scan your website and gives you a full SEO health report and shows you which part are good and in which part you need to fix. There are other good tools to like Ahrefs, SEOptimer and AIOSEO Analyzer but i would suggest go for Semrush Site Audit.

Hope this will help you.

Hey there! Great question—using data is a smart way to boost your SEO.

While Shopify’s built-in reports can show you things like top landing pages and traffic sources, they don’t go super deep into SEO specifics. For a clearer picture, you might want to try Mipler reports, which can help you track product visibility, keyword performance, and even identify pages with low views that could use some SEO tweaks.

This way, you can quickly spot what’s working and what needs more love—no guesswork! Let me know if you want tips on which specific metrics to focus on.

Learn about Ahrefs and Semrush. These are SEO tools.

SEO optimization with data sounds great until you realize most tools give you 100 problems but don’t tell you which ones actually matter. The stores that fix SEO fast usually start with just three things: (1) meta descriptions for your top 20 pages, (2) internal linking between related products, and (3) updating old content that’s almost ranking but not quite there. Everything else is noise. Also, most Shopify stores have terrible product descriptions that kill SEO because there written for customers, not search engines—you need both.
