How can I point a domain without 'www' to my new online store?

Hi There

Hope someone can help? I have a new store which I have successfully pointed the bespoke domain to.

www.graffiki.shop

But I would also like to point the domain without the ‘www’. I have created the CNAME record on the domain to do this, but I am getting this message in my domain settings in Shopify. It isn’t allowing me to ‘connect’ this domain for some reason?

Can anyone help at all?

Thanks

To verify it takes little bit time.

Did you fix the issue?

Hi @blairjarvis ,

In order to get your domain working correctly, you need to make sure your domain’s DNS records are set correctly. You will need a single A record that has the value of Shopify’s IP address (23.227.38.65), which will configure the root domain (graffiki.shop), and a “www” CNAME record with the value of shops.myshopify.com. This should get the “www” subdomain configured corretly.

I did a public lookup of your domain in order to see your domain’s DNS records:

The highlighted record is a secondary A record that points to a different IP address, so this will need to be removed. The CNAME record also appears to be missing so that will need to be added.

If you are not able to get your DNS records set correctly, I would recommend contacting our support team directly so that we can authenticate you on your store and take a closer look at this for you.

Thanks @Victor_5 That was very helpful and sorted now.
