Yes, that is exactly the link that caused the indexation. So it is still internally linked, but not visable in the frontend. Google still sees those links. They are just set to noindex, so that Google won’t index these pages. They are still available for Google and will be as long as they exist, Goo…

Were you able to remove that iframe and prevent further issues? I can’t seem to find it on my site, and the only mention of wpm in the source code is all in scripts, no links.

We’re ready to try anything. The “do-nothing” approach has gotten <10 of our 3,000+ 404’s removed in six weeks, and due to google search console being overwhelmed by the numbers I can’t even see if that’s 10 wpm pages or 10 other 404’s unrelated to this entire ordeal.
