Is there any way I can preview my unpublished theme with apps that I installed already?
The website already has a published theme, so I want the new theme that I customizing now does not affect my current theme. (actually it’s updating, but they are not migrating the current setting)
The look without apps will be a lot different and I do not want to take risks to publish the new theme without double-checking how it will function with apps and wish it will go well.
Any opinion or suggestion will be much appreciated.

If you’re referring to a previewing an Unpublished Theme in the Shopify Admin, this can actually be done under the Actions tab. First, head to: Online Store > Themes > Actions > Preview. This will allow you to preview the Theme with any changes that you’ve made.

Hope you are doing well.
If you have enabled the app then it will appear for both published and unpublished themes. And if you want to check the app only in unpublished theme then you can hide the app in live theme with custom CSS or by commenting the code of the app which is added automatically while installing the app(In some apps it happens).
If you need help with hiding the app for a live theme then you can take the help of that app support team and they’ll help you out.

I’m having the same issue, none of my apps are working when I am trying to preview a theme update (or new theme). Why aren’t they showing at all? How can I get them to work in preview?
