I have Men’s and Women’s products that are unisex. I have images of both men and women models wearing these unisex products. But i don’t want the male models to be the main image on the women’s page and visa versa because it looks really messy. Is there anyway i can solve this? I’m not sure if it would be a coding issue or something else?

This is not the issue it’s your custom requirement where you want to map a product to different types of users and want to show different images.
But you can fix this using the custom dev in your store like we did for our vendor.
