How to change the order of products on the Shopify homepage (not the catalogpage)

When it comes to ordering your products on your homepage, the order should depend on the order in which the products appear in their collection. If you’re featuring products on your homepage, you likely have a section added there that displays a collection, correct? If this is the case, then you should able to login to your Admin, click on ‘Collections’ on the left-hand menu, click on the collection you have linked to your homepage, and then sort the products from there. This should do the trick for you!
Another option to consider is building a collection exclusively for your homepage section. You could make a small, manual collection so you can pick and choose what products to feature, and what order you want them to appear. Then, you would link this collection to the homepage through your theme editor, and then you have total control over the order of how the products show up! If you find that the steps above aren’t very helpful, please follow up with me and let me know and we’ll try something else!
