I’m looking for the same thing. I just found a bunch of old comments I didn’t even know I had. And the only way to respond to a comment is through my actual site, just like a customer? Is that true? So awkward and weird.

It’s 2025, and there’s still no way I can enable email notifications for blog comments. After considering options like 1) complaining again to Shopify; 2) building an AI agent to notify me; 3) doing nothing except checking the blog comments manually more often, I have found this app that does it for free: https://apps.shopify.com/eagle Just started using it on my blog so will report back how it works!
