I have a shopify account which is still being managed by godaddy. I went to my godaddy website to remove a Facebook Pixel. While at it I accidentally clicked “publish”.
Now I’m having trouble re connecting my shopify page. Any help?

Hey @ZachPhillips ,
We need to ensure your DNS records are correct! From your GoDaddy Admin, head to your DNS settings/domain management area and check the following:
23.227.38.65.shops.myshopify.com.@ symbol.www CNAME record associated with your domain. If your domain already has an A record or www CNAME record, then you need to change these records to point to Shopify. You can have multiple CNAME records associated with your domain, but each one must have a unique name, such as www or shop.Next, head back over to Shopify to connect the Domain:
johns-apparel.info, and then click Next.Note: It might take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified. After it’s verified, your domain is listed in the THIRD-PARTY DOMAINS section of the Domains page with the status Connected.
Once your domain issues are resolved, it’s also a good idea to set up a custom domain email address if you haven’t already done so. This will allow your business to appear more professional, which will then strengthen trust with prospective customers. While Shopify doesn’t currently offer email hosting natively on our platform, if you’re just starting out, a popular choice to help with setting up your custom email address is Zoho Mail. Otherwise, Google Workspace is also a commonly used provider for hosting your custom email.
Let me know how you get on!
