If you purchased a domain via Shopify directly, then you need to contact support ASAP, they should be able to renew the domain. You cannot renew it yourself, once its expired.

If the link keeps redirecting to the home page, try opening the link in Chrome Incognito mode.
If the domain was purchased via 3rd party registrars (GoDaddy, etc), contact them.
