How can I recreate Etsy's custom order list display in Shopify?

I really like the way Etsy displays its order list. It shows the item(s) for each order and the address info expanded (I care more about the item and notes info). It also allows me to move orders through stages.

I’d like to recreate this in Shopify. The filters in our order list could imitate this using tags, but since orders can show up in multiple filters I’d have to add/remove tags for each step which is kind of tedious and it still doesn’t show the item info without hovering.

The app OrderCards is close but not super customizable (and $30/month is borderline worth it to me). I wanted to try PodOps but their site has been down since I found it last week with no response from support.

Any other ideas?

Search app store for terms like order assembler , order process, order builder etc

To get a higher parity match to etsy’s behavior with out building a custom app is probably only solvable with third party services. Either from the ground up with something like googlesheets appscript or “internal tool builders” like appsmith, google’s appsheet (examples) or app-maker for gsuite, retool, dronahq, airtable(see airpower shopify app), or the broader category of low code platforms that have some sort of UI designer and integration with shopify’s api.

I was in the same boat some time back and found Orderline , this does exactly what you described. Has a single screen with all order line item images, customizations, ship by details etc.
