Currently I am using the Dawn Theme and want to redirect the Add To Cart button to the Cart Page and not the Checkout. Could someone help me out, please?

I never saw this feature in any theme without a customization. ( Add to cart redirect to checkout default behavior of Dawn theme is on click of atc cart drawer appears pr cart page appears which you need )
So I suggest reverting the changes you did and it will work as you need.
