Hello all Gurus here!
I am starting my new store with Shopify and I am selling in Malaysia.
As I am just starting out, I need to be very careful to spend all my single cents.
After my research, I noticed the only way to activate Recurring Payment with Shopify for Malaysian is via Stripe + 3rd party Shopify App (must be Stripe partners): PayWhirl or ReCharge.
The fees per transaction are huge!! more than 8%…
either:
- Shopify (transaction charges 2%) + Stripe (3% + RM1) + PayWhirl (3% for Free Plan)
or
- Shopify (transaction charges 2%) + Stripe (3% + RM1) + ReCharge (transaction charges 1% + U$60 monthly)
That really cost me too many fees for a new startup like mine.
Is there a cheaper way for me to work around it??
