So im having trouble clearing out two sales that I have already fulfilled. Every time I look at me app it says I have to orders. I need help. How do I remove that?
Hey, [email removed]Terah.
Tira here to help.
Thanks for your question. This is expected behaviour for open orders and it sounds like you’re using the Shopify mobile app on your device, and that you want to clear the icon where it indicates the number of orders open on your store. Is that right?
If it is, I want to clarify that open orders are orders that can be fulfilled, but are not archived. To remove the number of orders showing on your mobile app’s icon, and in the Shopify admin, I recommend archiving your orders. Archiving orders will put your orders in an archive state, remove them from your list of open orders, and won’t delete your orders from your admin, it is also not the same as cancelling an order.
Here are the steps to archive an order:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.
- From the Orders page, click the number of the order that you want to archive.
- Click More actions, and then click Archive orders.
After archiving your orders, you can see that your orders are archived.
I would also recommend using bulk actions if you have a lot of orders to archive, you can also use them to unarchive multiple orders. Check out our help doc to learn more about using bulk actions: Using bulk actions in your Shopify admin.
I often find that merchants will automatically have their orders archived to help with removing the amount of open orders displayed in your mobile app and Shopify admin. Learn more about how to enable this in our help doc here: Set up automatic order archiving.
I would love to know if this helps with what you want to achieve!
Thank you so much. I did what you told me to and it helped!!
Thanks for the update, @Terah . I’m so glad that I could help.
Cheers,
