How can I regain access to my ecommerce account after an email change?

Hi, I have been using shopify to market my products and have recently had a problem with google that required me to change my email to gmoneylawlor@gmail.com but while doing so it logged me out. When I tried to log back in, it didn’t allow me to get in because of the Authentication Code from the app, and I didn’t have the other option downloaded, I am not able to access my website now which is extremely problematic. Some additional information includes that the name of the website was Luxeloomaccessories, and the previous email was luxeloomaccessories@gmail.com. The New Email to respond to would be gmoneylawlor@gmail.com

As you require the two-factor authentication feature to be disabled, you will want to connect with us directly. This will allow our support team to take a closer look, as we wouldn’t have access to any account-specific information through the Community. They will be able to ensure this gets resolved as quickly as possible.

  • Head over to our Help Center.

  • In the virtual assistance chat box, please type I can’t log in.

  • This will populate a few resources, where you can wait a few moments until you see the I still need help option.

  • Click Account Support.

  • Scroll down until you see the option to chat with an advisor.
