How can I reinstall Authorize.net as my third party payment provider?

Hello,

I am sure others are experiencing this difficulty as well. I set my Shopify site up with Authorize.net as my third party payment provider however I disabled it to test the transactions but when I went to reinstall my third party payment provider after successful testing, Authorize.net was not listed as an approved payment provider.

My accounting team will not allow Shopify Payments as the transaction fees are substantially higher than our rates with Authorize.net. I was told that there is a plug-in that we would enable to allow Authorize.net to function as our third party payment provider.

I spoke with Authorize and they mentioned the plug-in would be from the Shopify end of things so they cannot provide me with the answer to this.

Can anyone provide me with more information on if that plug-in exists and where I can find it? Or the steps I need to take to allow Authorize.net to be out third party payment provider?

Thank you!

Hi there @sbirkholz !

Generally speaking, the payment gateway options available to a store would be based on where in the world that store is.

In the case of the availability of Authorize.net, can you check again to see if this option is now available where you are?

You may need to clear the cache on your browser in order to see a live, up-to-date version of your store.

If you still do not see an option for Authorize as a payment gateway, let me know where in the world your store is based so we can check out which payment gateways are available where you are.
