How can I remove '/collections' from my Dawn theme URL?

I would like to remove /collections from the url on my store. I’m using the latest version of the Dawn theme. I

I’ve searched on the forums and watched videos but I cannot find the location of the piece of code to edit. Can anybody tell me how they have done it on dawn?

Hello @Danmuges

The /collections prefix is applied to all collection page URLs. You can not remove it by settings, or by code. It is default by Shopify to distinguish between content types.

thanks but thats for a different theme, The section of code in Dawn theme seems impossible to find. i dont think it exists.
