How can I remove product thumbnails from the Prestige theme?

Hi,

Currently working on the Prestige theme…

I’m trying to remove the product thumbnails to make the product image fill the space instead.
Is this an easy fix, or do I have to get the help of an expert?

Follow these Steps:

1. Go to Online Store
2. Edit Code
3. Find theme.liquid file
4. Add the following code just above tag

Go to your Online store > Themes > Customize > Products > Default product > Desktop media layout, choose Thumbnail bottom or Dots option

Hey this worked however the thumbnail blinks in on the page briefly before it leaves the screen. It does not permeantly remove it right away?
