How can I remove quantity only for specific products in Dawn theme?

Brief understanding of the why:

I have a product we are selling variants of and these variants are the quantity or lots we are selling them in 2, 4, 6. I associated a specific shipping rule for these lots. So I don’t need quantity for this product. However with quantity a loop whole is thaqt you can buy 2 qty lots of 2 and shipping wont charge you the price for 4.

I was able to use 3 different help posts to achieve a solution but wondering if I can get it more specific.

I was able to:

  1. create a new product theme and set my product to that theme.
  2. remove the qty box from that new theme.
  3. However they were still able to add qty on the cart so I disabled the qty but left trashcan.

I’m wondering if there is a way to only remove qty from the this one product as opposed to everything. Also if anyone sees a problem with the process I took to get where I am at, advice is appreciated.

Yes this can possible using metafield at product level.
