The three dot icon in the right hand corner, it is for social medial
platforms that i do not have.

Add the following code to the end of your theme.scss file at the bottom:
#shopify-section-product-template > section > div > div.Product__Gallery.Product__Gallery--withDots > div.Product__ActionList.hidden-lap-and-up > div:nth-child(2) {
display: none;
}
