How Can I remove the Chat With Us feature - Dawn Theme

I’d like to remove the Chat Feature from my online store since I’m not going to be available a lot of times.

I tried adding the following code to the base.css but it didn’t work:

Add this css at the bottom of
Online Store->Theme->Edit code->Assets->base.scss.liquid

#shopify-chat-dummy {
display: none;
}

Any other ideas?

Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code->theme.liquid->paste bellow code in tag

#dummy-chat-button-iframe { display: none !important; }

Richard, I appreciate you trying to help. I did as you suggested and the Chat With Us option is still coming up.

hi Lonni did you remove the chat pop-up? I need to remove mine and I can’t, any advice?

Hi Gaby! Yes, I was able to get the chat option taken off. But, I had to connect with Shopify support to get it done. They were very helpful and did it for me. They’ll also be able to walk you through the process so you can take notes if you’d like. I did bother doing that because I want it permanently removed.
