So… Been trying to remove this for over 2 hours now, no code in the footer, no nothing.
When i inspect it, its called -

Within the theme customizer, select the footer section. Do you see an option like the below image? If so, unselect the checkbox and that should remove the dropdown.
If not, custom CSS will need to be added to hide the dropdown. Without seeing the code, it is difficult to determine which class to add the CSS to. It may be the class you provided or the parent node. If you can share a link to you storefront I could provide the CSS.
