Hi @armussett
This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App
You can follow this guide to remove it on your store.
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Actions > Edit languages.
In the Search translations box, do either of the following:
If this is the first time that you change this text, then enter powered in the search box.
If you changed this text previously, navigate directly to the “Powered by Shopify” message by clicking …, and then select Checkout & System. The “Powered by Shopify” message is in the Links section of Checkout & System.
In the Powered by Shopify box, use the space bar on your keyboard to type a single space. You can repeat these steps for the Powered by Shopify HTML box, which appears on your store’s Opening soon page if your store is password-protected.
Click Save.
Hope this can help you solve the issue

Hello @armussett
can you please share your store URL?
Hi,
Please share your store URL and if your store is password protected then also provide password too.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you!
Hi PageFly,
I have already attempted these steps and simply cannot find an ‘action’ button anywhere to edit languages.
Is this perhaps because our current store theme is quite outdated?
Hi, @armussett .
I’ve just taken a look at your store and it looks like you were able to successfully remove the social icons and ‘powered by Shopify’ text from your store’s footer. This is my view of the current footer you have:
Just making sure that you’re all set here, and don’t require further assistance?
In case you still need it though, you can refer to the guides below, which should help you locate the appropriate settings on your Shopify admin to achieve what you’re after:
P.S. What a gorgeous selection of clothing you offer!
@armussett
i think now it removed from your store
That is our current theme, where the footer has already been removed.
I am updating the theme version and can’t find where to remove it on the new version…
Still not solved!
Here is the preview link. Apologies, I sent the wrong one: https://ypzs6u04rqsa4b49-19613199.shopifypreview.com
Please add below css code at bottom of assets/theme.css file
span.footer__copyright:nth-child(2) a {
display: none;
}
.footer__item.footer__item–social {

}
Thank you.
Hi @Denishamakwana you can use my code and paste it in theme.liquid before
Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > More Actions > Edit code
Step 2: click on theme.liquid and paste the code above the
Please remember to put the code at the correct theme.
Hope this can help you solve the issue
Thank you
Great!
This worked, thanks a lot for your assistance.
Thank you!
I see you’ve resolved this matter already, @armussett . Thanks everyone for jumping in and helping out!
I thought I’d let you know too however that there is a way to resolve this without having to implement a code to your theme. I’ll detail the steps below anyways, for future references and in case others who may find this thread aren’t quite comfortable with making changes to their theme code.
If you’d like to remove the social icons from within the black bar on your footer, you can follow the steps below:
On your Shopify admin, navigate to Online store > Themes > Customize. This will take you to the theme editor.
On the left sidebar under the Homepage heading, scroll down and click Footer. This will open a sidebar on the right, where you can uncheck the Show social icons checkbox as seen below.
Click the green Save button.
I’ve also created a video guide to show what this process looks like, you can access the video using this link. I added an extra step in the video in case you’d also like to remove the social icons that are in-line with your “follow our socials” heading too. But if you’d like to keep those icons visible, feel free to skip the extra step at the end of the video.
To remove the Powered by Shopify text from your footer, you’ll need to head back to Online store > Themes from your admin. From there, follow the steps below:
Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to your Pipeline theme, then click Edit default theme content.
In the filter items search bar at the top, type the word “powered”. This will update the page and show you sections from your theme which contain the word “powered”, and from there you should be able to see the Powered by Shopify heading under Checkout and systems > Links as seen below.
Click the text box where it says Powered by Shopify, then press the spacebar on your keyboard. This will remove the Powered by Shopify text.
Click the green Save button.
I’ve also created a video here, for a visual step-by-step guide on this process.
If you prefer to resolve the matter by implementing a code to your theme, as explained by Victor, just a reminder to duplicate your theme prior to making any changes, so that you have your previous copy to revert to in case you need it.
