Hi all, how can I change the “sale tag” on the product image? For example, in sustainability.

The “sale” tag on product images only appears if you set up your products to have a Price and Compare at price in your product’s settings. This puts your product on sale.
It wouldn’t be possible to change this specific tag, but there are third party apps that allow you to add different badges to your products. I’ve included a few popular ones below, but you can also take a look at other options in our app store here.

If you are interested in a sustainability badge in particular I would definitely recommend taking a look at our app Planet by Shopify. It is in early access and has limited availability at the moment, but we are planning on releasing it fully. This app would allow you to add a Planet badge to your online store, make your shipments carbon-neutral, and access analytics such as your carbon footprint, total delivery distance, or how much carbon you’ve removed. You can use some tagging apps to change the tags from sale tag to sustainability tag.
For example, I personally use this app call Auto Tags (https://apps.shopify.com/tag-automation)) as it provide many tagging functionalities, like for your case you can configure a workflow to check if product has “sale” tag then add the “sustainability” tag and remove the “sale” tag.
You can use auto triggers, so this tagging will happen automatically when a product is tagged with “sale” tag.

Auto triggers, sounds good. I was hoping to add the function in the code without the app itself. But I don’t understand the tags and don’t know where they are stored or how to automate them… I will do some more research… Thanks for your time anyway!
