How can I replicate my BigCommerce site features in Shopify?

Hello,

I’m trying to do a proof of concept for the company owner. I have a few things that I’m having trouble replicating in Shopify (currently we’re with BigCommerce).

  1. Currently trying to figure out how to extend the blue background of the navigation menu to reach all the way across the screen.

  2. Current site has a fixed background image with a small slideshow overlay off to the side.

The bird image is static, the window image contains the slideshow.

So I’ve made quite a bit of progress over the weekend with the site, but still stuck on a few issues.

current theme is studio, but I’m open to using another free theme.

I’m stuck on the header, I can’t get the little icons (search, user, cart) to move to the top right like in the original site. I also need to insert the phone number information into the header.

I’ll appreciate any insight you might provide.

In case of free theme you should use DAWN theme is free and most popular and you will be able to find lots of free tutorials for so many things.

Since you have too many requests which can’t be fulfilled without a paid job.

but will ping the code for your header fix.

let me know you need solution for studio theme or for DAWN?
