How can I report a company using Shopify to "sell" goods, but are really a major scam.

As a customer, I give some trust that companies using the Shopify platform are genuine and that some validation has been done by Shopify. But I understand that it is not the case and that basically anyone can setup with Shopify - and not even comply to required laws within the country they claim to be based.
What guarantees do Shopify offer? It surely cannot be good business for Shopify to work with what essentially is a Scam?

Thanks for your question. Shopify takes the integrity of its platform seriously but does not directly vet every store. It’s always good practice for customers to do their own research before purchasing. If you encounter a store you believe is not complying with our Acceptable Use Policy or other policies, I recommend using this form to report it.
