How can I resize large images on my Dawn theme blog?

Hi, I am trying to resize the images on my shopify blog. The theme I am using is DAWN. The images are extremely huge and looks unprofessional.

After trying to resize it, does the size change?

The image is the “featured image” it does not give an option to resize.
