I see a few hits for 404 pages in my landing page report. How can I fix this problem?
Assuming you have reasonable traffic, a few 404 pings is going to be inevitable. To prevent it, make sure you set up redirects when you change links for anything. Aside from that, if you have a good 404 page you should be good. Make sure it includes an apology of some kind, an explanation and link to home/most popular products. A little humor can help too.
I think these 404 might be coming from some old Pinterest campaign and some pages were changed and it doesn’t connect. Thanks for the advice using humor.

That makes sense! Here’s a compilation of some good 404 pages for inspiration. With Online Store 2.0, you can customize your 404 page without any additional apps, but if you’re not happy with that I recommend using Shogun or Pagefly.
