I understand that you received an order through PayPal however, your account was not set up which resulted in the payment status as pending. Oftentimes, this can happen if the email address linked to your PayPal account is not verified.
To confirm, could you check in your Shopify admin > Settings > Payments > Paypal > Manage section that the PayPal account is correct with no error messages? If the account is not correct, you’ll need to update the account information you’d like to use and contact PayPal Support for help with receiving your payout.
If your account information is correct, could you also confirm if you’ve verified the email address associated with your PayPal account? If not, you can follow the steps listed in PayPal’s Help Center and then wait 48hrs for the payment to be deposited.
