How can I resolve email verification issues for my new domain?

I need to verify my email address to use the domain I have just bought.

I didn’t get an email so I clicked the resend email button and then they both came through. I clicked the first one (I hadn’t realised 2 emails came through) and verified myself but this did not register on Shopify despite it saying my email was successfully verified.

This has left me wondering how I can fix this problem as I can’t use the domain I’ve bought without having a verified email address.

Does anyone know?
