I am trying to connect my GoDaddy domain to my shopify store
But getting this error
“A site with that domain name already exists”
I contacted support more than 4 times. I did everything they asked me to.
They told me to wait.
Now it’s been 48 hours.
What should I do?

Thanks for letting us know the error message you are seeing. This can sometimes happen when you are trying to connect a domain to a store, but the domain was previously used on another store. Are you seeing something similar to my screenshot below when you type in your GoDaddy domain?
I understand you have already been in touch with our support team a few times, and I know that having to wait for matters like this can be less than ideal when you are trying to get the store setup.
In order to help you with this, we will need to carry out some investigation work on our side, and then reach back out to you via email. This can take a little bit of time to complete, however it sounds like you have provided all of the information we asked for so it will just be a matter of waiting for our reply. If you haven’t heard back from us after waiting another 24-48 hours, then I would advise reaching back out to us here and requesting an update.

Yes, it’s more than 48 hours now.

I am going to ask for an update again. And I am sure their answer will be “wait we will contact you via email”
