How can I resolve my Google Merchant Center multi-client account domain mismatch issue?

I’m going to attempt to not be too convolute in my message. First…in an attempt to claim my website URL in the Google Merchant Center (GMC) I had to switch from my domain of trendzvillage.com to trendzvillage-com.shopify.com. Not sure why trendzvillage.com didn’t claim but hopefully we can determine that with more information.

Now the authorized and authenticated website trendzvillage-com.shopify.com is accepted to advertise products.

GMC informs me however when I claimed my website, it seems like the domain path is different from the website link of the landing page of my products. Due to the different domain paths between my linked website and links, the system disapproved my uploaded products due to mismatched domains.

The suggestion from GMC is If I want to have my products get re-approved, the very first thing that I would have to do is raise a request for your account to be included within their Multi-client account. In this way, My Merchant Center will inherit the domain path of Shopify and the domain path of your products’ website link will be the same with the linked URL. Can you help guide me with this?

I may need to verify and claim the website URL again and I’m fine with that but for now Id like to get my products approved. Thank you in advance

You should never claim a shopify subdomain, you need to claim the main website. Here is a guide: https://feedarmy.com/kb/verify-claim-website-shopify-in-google-merchant-center/

You don’t need a multi client account, that was wrong info you have been given.

First claim the correct top level domain: trendzvillage.com

Then re-process the feed and it will be correct.
