I am an owner of a store and I’m very troubled by the responses by ShopPay. I was using Stripe and I was seeing a banner to get ShopPay so I enrolled it. While enrolling it I accidently misplaced some digits of the bank account because it wouldn’t let me skip it so I thought I’ll change it later on.
After some time when I reached home I got my statement and wanted to update my number but they asked me the old number which I couldn’t remember after it I was asked for the ID which I gave a couple of times and the requirement of the old bank account was removed. But now when I try to enter the same routing number, it says that it is not valid. I mean it was accepted previously.
I spoke to someone but instead of resolving the issue they forwarded it to the risk management team. Such a headache! Shopify needs a better support team.
