I have variants but the product image was showing as first variant image rather than main product image.
I modified theme by using instructions found in this help section but now I have lost all variants being available to select. How to fix and how to restore the code to original?

Did not you keep any back up file? If not, then download new file of that theme and copy the ‘settings_data.json’ file’s all codes from the old theme and paste it to the new downloaded theme. Make sure that you are pasting this code on the same file in the new theme.
Then you website will be okay. Thank you
this is the shopify directions i followed. not sure why my variation selection is now gone.
