I recently made my store inactive but did not transfer my domain name. How can I keep the name I purchased while disconnecting it from my shopify site?

If you have a Shopify-managed domain and you no longer want to use it with your Shopify store, then you can transfer your domain to another Shopify store or domain provider. Check out my link below for more information

In this case, you can reach out to our support with this inquiry by logging into your online store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner.
Once you successfully login, or select the option to Continue without logging in - you will be directed to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak with an Advisor about the domain.
