how do I get my domain back. I canceled my subscription but I cant figure out how to transfer my domain
Consider sending an email to merchant support, they can help you with the transfer.

Do you have a third-party domain? If so, you may contact our support team so we can remove it on your behalf.
If you have a Shopify domain and you would like to transfer it to another provider, you’ll need to access your admin to initiate a transfer. If your store doesn’t have any outstanding invoices, we can look into giving you temporary access to your admin so you can transfer the domain. You may contact our support team to see if this is possible. If you have an outstanding invoice in your store, you’ll need to reactivate it and choose a plan to gain access to your admin and transfer the domain. Once you’re finished with the transfer, you may then cancel your store again. While we don’t provide refunds as per our Terms of Service, you’re welcome to contact our support team to request this and we’ll see if we can provide an exemption since you no longer plan to use your store.

After visiting the link and logging in, you’ll be prompted to enter the topic of your concern so we can connect you to the right articles and support team. Simply type in the topic, click Search then scroll down to the bottom of the page to click Continue under Get Support. You’ll then see the option to create a support ticket on the next page.
