How can I retrieve the missing Autowrite feature?

Was really enjoying the suggestions the autowrite was throwing out. Anyone know how to get it back?

Hey there, @MrsRob128 . Thanks for jumping into the Shopify Community and reaching out regarding your question about this feature. It’s nice to meet you!

I believe the feature you’re talking about is called ‘Shopify Magic’ - a new feature that assists you with creating your product descriptions! This feature is being rolled out to folks, so not everybody has access to it yet, so congrats on having had the chance to use it!

There could be a few reasons as to why the feature may have vanished for you, so I have a few questions I’d like you to answer:

  • What Theme are you using in your Store?
  • What language do you have your store set to?
  • We did have an incident earlier today where Magic had been disabled, but it’s since been re-enabled. Can you double check to see if you have access to it again?

Hi there, I had the same thing happen to me. I just read what shopify staff Imogen wrote in a reply.

But if you had it you can easily get it back by deleting cookies for shopify.

I use a chrome browser so its easy to delete without deleting any other necessary cookies.

When your signed in and on your admin, look at URL, Click on the padlock on left of URL, then click on cookies & site data, then click on “manage cookies & site data”. The easy part, delete them all. Then refresh the page, sign in and voila! You have it back :slightly_smiling_face:
