How can I safely add a third party hosted font to the Impulse theme?

Hi, I was wondering how it to add third party hosted fonts. We bought a lifetime licence for my clients brand fonts but it was too expensive right now to buy the self hosted licence. I know how to add self hosted fonts but I’m worried to add the hosted fonts.

Someone told me it could potentially crash the site if they decide not to host that font anymore but it’s a solid font foundry so I don’t think it’d happen.

I can’t turn back and tell my client that we can’t use that font anymore as she has paid for the licence.

Hopefully someone can help me.

Thank you in advance.

oHi, Thank you for your response. At the moment I don’t have an issue on the site itself as I haven’t tried to add the hosted font yet. I need to do it but I don’t know where, exactly, I should add the link in liquid.

On shopify it says:

Third party hosted fonts

If a font is hosted with the third party, then they’ll usually provide a tag to include the font in your theme:

Copy

1

Tip

The tag is often included in theme.liquid, or your chosen layout file.
