How can I secure my custom payment button in the checkout process?

Hey guys, I need some help, I created one script to put into the checkout to create a button to make the payment with ADA, but since I’m seeing that if I change something in the checkout I need to be SHOPIFY PLUS I’m a little worried about that, is working, for now, the button but I’m afraid about that :disappointed_face:

Hi @lumberjack_dude ,

That is correct. You cannot make significant changes to the Checkout without being on Shopify Plus. The changes you are limited to on regular Shopify plans are:

  1. You can add different payment processors

  2. You can add different payment methods

  3. You can change specific language in the checkout

  4. You can add apps on that allow for different things on the “Thank You” page.

  5. You can add tracking scripts.

In order to add a different payment processor, you would need to go to the Payments section in the settings and choose from the list of Shopify’s pre-approved payment partners. Beyond that, you cannot change much else on the Checkout page.

But can I add the button like I showed you guys? because it is working there it’s a link for the payment.

Because with this link I’m sending the order id and the value of the product to the payment method with ADA (blockchain) then with that I have the callback that applies to the payment of Shopify so it works, but perhaps this inject inside the checkout can be a danger, because there’s no payment method with ADA inside the check out settings of the Shopify
