How can I sell to the Channel Islands from the UK post Brexit?

Hello I am looking for some advice on selling to the Channel Islands from the UK, post Brexit.

We are about to open our online store to the EU, but the Channel Islands, Isle of Man are not part of the EU. Can anyone selling in these regions advice me whether customs duties and import taxes apply to these regions?

How can I add them to our market?

Thanks

Hi @Triveda ,

Thanks for reaching out. Please note that when you’re setting up your shipping rates, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are listed individually and are not part of either the UK or the EU. You can search for Jersey and Guernsey manually when creating a shipping zone, or in Shopify Markets if you have this feature enabled. Both Jersey and Guernsey are listed in the “Europe” section:

You can add them to an existing market you have set up, or create a new market specifically for the Channel Islands.

The same applies to the Isle of Man. It is listed separately and can be added to an existing market or shipping zone, or a new one.

As far as I am aware, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands have a free trade agreement with the United Kingdom as they did prior to Brexit and import fees and duties should not apply. However, I would encourage you to do your own research on this and speak to a professional if you are unsure.
