How can I separate duplicated content sections on a new page?

Hi there,

I am very new to Shopify and I am trying to build a template with existing sections (sections that I have used on the homepage and that I have filled with content).

I have successfully created a new template and created a page with that template. However, when I open the new page, I see that the content of those sections is already filled with the same content as the content I have configured on the homepage. So when I configure content in section A on the homepage, it also changes the content of section A on the new page.

Is there a way to disconnect these two sections? If duplication of the original section is the only option, how can I duplicate a section?

To duplicate a section you have to create a new section and paste code of your old section in that section file and then on the page other than home page use that new section file. It will act as separate section now, It has no connection with the home page section.
