How can I separate specific pages from the default page template?

Hello!

I added pages on shopify and i realized that they were all connected to the “default page.” this made all the pages i created mimick each other, like my “about us” page and the “FAQs” page. Ideally I’d want the content of these pages to be separate, and unique relative to each other, and not possessing the exact same content on every page.

So, my question is how do I separate a specific page, such as my “FAQ” page from the “default page” template?

The content you add to a page will be unique, though I wonder if you are editing the code of the page template itself. If you need multiple templates to support different designs/layouts (like that FAQ) then consider looking at alternate templates.
