i added two faq pages and it duplicate one of them all the time and erase the other.

what can i do ??

Hi there @paamoni . I’m happy to help you out with this! I just have a few questions to make sure I give you the best advice.

  • Can you tell me more about the differences between your FAQ pages? Is it just the questions and answers that will be different or will the layout of the pages be different as well?
  • Which theme are you currently using?

If the layout of your FAQ pages will be the same you can do this by creating two separate pages in your Shopify Admin. The steps to create pages can be found here. Once your two pages are created you can add the questions and answers for the page by going to Online store > Pages, clicking the page you want to edit, and then adding the information into the Content section shown below. More information on adding content to pages can be found here.

If your FAQ pages will have two different layouts, then I would recommend you create another page template. This would allow you to create another layout for your pages and you can choose which page(s) the new layout is applied to. So for example, you could have one layout/template for your first FAQ page and a separate layout/template for your second FAQ page. More information on creating and applying page templates can be found on this page. That being said, these steps are specifically for Online Store 2.0 themes so if you are using a vintage theme you would need some custom coding to do this.

If you are setting this all up on the same page you can use the Content area in your Shopify Admin to format the page in a way that separates your first set of FAQs from your second set of FAQs. For example, with two different headings. If you are using an Online Store 2.0 theme and using a specific page section for your FAQs, like a Collapsible content section, you can also add a second version of that section within your theme editor. I’ve included an example below of a FAQ page with two Collapsible content sections to show what this could look like. You can also read more about using sections and blocks in your theme editor here.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hey :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s just questions and answers, but it’s two sections, first is about “deliveries” and the second is about “the product and how to use”.

So what I’m trying to do is to separate between them to avoid alot of q&a in the same page.

hey :slightly_smiling_face:

first of all tnx for helping.

so the faq will be seperate just because of the topic, but it can be on the same page.

im using modular theme, and i tried to do what you showed me on the second picture and couldnt open more blocks (collapsiblwe row)

Hi @paamoni . I took a look at the theme you’re using (Modular) and they have a “FAQ” section available that is very similar to the “Collapsible content” section I described before. You can add this section from the same place in your theme editor. To get there you’ll want to open your theme editor and select the correct page template. Then you can click Add section > FAQ. You may need to click Show more to see all of the available sections. You will also want to add two of these sections so that you can separate your two groups of questions.

Here is an example of what this looks like:

If you are doing this keep in mind which template you are editing. If you are editing your Default page template, the changes you make to the layout will appear on all of your pages since this is the template they all use by default. If you would like this layout only applied to your FAQ page you will want to follow these steps to create a new page template. The steps to apply a template to a specific page can be found in that guide as well.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I also wanted to ask where you were thinking of adding your FAQ page on your storefront?

Hey

Ao i know i can do it, but it lets me doing it only from the main page of the website, and i need it to be seperate of course

Hi @paamoni . Thank you for getting back to me.

Can you describe what is happening on your end and the steps you are taking? It sounds like you might be currently editing your Home page template. In order to edit your collection pages you will want to make sure you select the correct collection template in your theme editor. You can do this from the top of your theme editor like in the screenshot below. By default all of your collections use the Default collection template, so keep in mind that any edits you make to this template will appear on all of your collections. If you need to make a unique collection template for a specific collection you can still do that. You can find more information on using templates here.
