I understand that you’re also looking to set a maximum dollar amount for discounts. While I can agree that this feature has been requested for some time, I’m unable to confirm when this change will take place. Nevertheless, I’d be happy to add you to this feature request in hopes that it can help prioritize this feature request with our development team. Once again, if Shopify moves forward with any changes to limiting discounts - we’ll be sure to announce them on our changelog and/or updates page.
