How can I set customer-selectable shipping rates for mixed product carts?

Hi, I currently making a store in which I will sell clothes and accessories, the clothes I have stocked myself whereas the accessories are being dropshipped. I have created separate shipping profiles for the dropshipped and non-dropshipped items with their own respective rates. When either dropshipped or non-dropshipped items are in the cart exclusively the shipping options display as normal. However, if there is a mix of both clothing and accessories in the cart it will just say “Free Shipping”. Is there a way to have the customer choose their shipping method for each group of products?

What are the names of the shipping rates inside both the profiles?

I think because you have different rate names, it is showing as “Free Shipping” on the checkout.

But I want the names to remain different as they are separate methods and will take different amounts of time to arrive. Is it possible for the customer to be able to choose the method for each product?

I don’t think it’s possible. Personally I feel it might be a bad experience for customer as well. Haven’t really seen major ecommerce players like amazon offer users the option to choose different shipping for different products.
