How can I set maximum discount limits by user or brand?

Anyone can give any discount up to 100% which is basically losing money

  1. is there a way to Cap / Max discounts by User? No all the POS users should be able to use X %

2)Is there a way to Cap / Max discounts by brands? Not all the brands should have the same discount %

Please Help!!!

Shopify’s built-in discount system doesn’t provide user or brand based discount restrictions out of the box. To do this:

  1. By user: Restrict which users are able to apply discounts and how much, with POS staff permissions. In Shopify POS, go to Settings → Users and permissions and configure the “maximum discount allowed.”

  2. By brand/product: Apply a discount app such a Discounted Upsells or Seguno / Bold Discounts which let you restrict discounts by collection, tags, brands and more and set maximum percentage.

The combination of these means that you can have a maximum discount per product that is over-ridden by a per user maximum discount.
