How can I set separate shipping rules for pre-order products?

Hi,
I have pre-orders for when products are out of stock, however, this varies per day. the product type will then be pre-ordered.
this is made with code.

now I wonder if I can do a separate shopping/rules if a product is a pre-order. I can only find conditions with the weight and with prices, but not with the type of product. can someone help me further with this?

You can try our app Shipr for this.

Basically you create 2 shipping profiles.

  1. General Profile
  2. Pre order Profile

Both the profiles can have different shipping rates.

Inside the Shipr app, you create a rule like this - if product type equals “pre-ordered”, assign the product to pre order shipping profile.

That’s it. Now whenever the product type changes to pre-ordered, the product will automatically get assigned to Pre Order shipping profile. And vice versa.
