I am setting up an new Shop and realised there is Shopify Email.
Is it possible to set up an email template to be sent out when a customer registers for the newsletter and has finished the double opt in flow?
I would like to send out an email with an discount code after finished double op in flow.

Thanks, but this doesn’t solve my issue. AFAIK I only can edit the Customer marketing confirmation notification. (The one where the customer presses the “I agreee” button) .
But I need an additional mail after the customer presses “I agree”, where it says something along the lines: “Thanks for confirmation. blablabla Your discount code is WELCOME-10. Happy shopping”
This sadly isn’t standard functionality with Shopify and annoying to book a full fledged email marketing tool to get a fully working double op in newsletter subscription functionality.
For anybody interested, I have set it up with Klavyio. Obviously is Shopify alone not capable of such a mail flow.
