How can I set up custom listings for customer order customization?

I need guidance around how to best display listings that allow customers customize their orders. They would need be able to select their fabric and style of choice.

The listing would need to clearly showcase images of the fabric prints and also the style options.

Is there an app you can recommend or a customization that can be applied to the Narrative theme?

Hi there @Elisamama . I’m happy to help you out with this. If you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me more about the products you are customizing? I want to make sure I give you the best advice for your situation!

My first thought is to set this up using options and variants right within your Shopify Admin. You can set up a main product with different fabric print and style options that customers must choose from. More information on adding variants can be found here. That being said, at the moment I believe the best way to display fabric print swatches in the way you described would be to use a third party app. I’ve included some suggestions of apps that can help below. You can also look over a full list of similar apps on this page if these recommendations don’t work for you.

Another way to do this would be to edit your theme’s code. If you aren’t comfortable coding yourself you can hire a Shopify Expert to assist you. Shopify Experts are trusted, third-party agencies and freelancers who offer services for Shopify merchants.
