We are setting up a store at the moment and would like to setup custom payment plans for the products eg
The payment plan otions should only be available for specific products and not all products in the store.
How can this be achieved in Shopify Advanced?

The best way to offer that type of customized payment plan and have it apply only to certain products is — activate the Manual Payment option.
From inside of your Shopify admin dashboard follow these steps;
- Scroll to the bottom of your admin dashboard and click on the “Settings” tab. It’s at the very bottom left hand corner of the screen.
- When it opens up, click ‘Payments’ option.
- Ignore and skip over the various payment options shown at the top of the page such as Shopify Payment, Supported Payment Methods, Alternative Payment Methods, and so forth. — select [MANUAL PAYMENTS].
It’s right here inside of the Manual Payments section is where you can perform magic!
When you activate manual payments you have the option to create as many payment options as you’d like. Just must be sure to give a proper name to each option.
For example,
- *Click Here: 4 Month Payment Plan (with a 50% non-refundable deposit)
- *Click Here: 11 Month Payment Plan (with 25% non-refundable deposit)
- *Click Here: To make payment by Zelle, Venmo or ****

Finally, when a customer submits their order keep in mind they have NOT actually made a payment. You will have to explain to your customer step-by-step exactly what they need to do. Make the instructions simple to understand. In other words, when a customer submits and order an “ORDER CONFIRMATION” page will appear. This is where you need present easy to understand instructions on how to pay!
[Your order has been placed successfully. However, it is PENDING until you make payment.
To remit payment, send in the required 25% or 50% deposit now. Simply open up your mobile device to the digital wallet of your choice. We gladly accept Zelle©, Venmo©, Google Pay© and Apple Pay©.
If you wish to pay by credit card a separate email invoice will be sent to you within the hour.
Send digital wallet payments to our account telephone number of record: (555) 555-5555. All order will be shipped immediately after confirmation of payment. Please allow 3 to 5 days for shipping and delivery. Got questions? Call us at (555) 555-5555]

Thanks for the suggestion, correct me if I am wrong but won’t this option make the manual payments available to all products? and we were looking for a way to automate the process within Shopify and not having to manually process the payment outside of Shopify. We have had a look at a app called ‘Installment Recurring Paymentsby SpurIT’ but we cannot set multiple options for multiple products
